A recent UCLA graduate, Tunde Krasznai is a solo pianist and music therapist who worked with patients in the Los Angeles, California, area. As part of the Gluck Outreach Program, she played concerts and provided music therapy in many types of venues, ranging from middle schools to senior living facilities, continuing education courses, and even the Braille Institute. Through her work, Tunde Krasznai was able to help patients achieve higher levels of self-esteem and lessen their anxiety.
In addition to her master’s degree from UCLA, Tunde Krasznai is also a master’s graduate of the Liszt Academy in Budapest, where she studied music, music teaching, and music therapy. She first emigrated to the United States in 2008 after earning a scholarship to the John J. Cali School of Music at Montclair State University in New Jersey.
Through her performances and therapy work, Tunde Krasznai has personally experienced the healing and restorative power that music can have on a person. Those insights fuel her continued passion in the field.
