A talented medical researcher, Dr. Tomifumi Onishi holds experience as a presenter at the Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Annual Meeting of the Society of General Internal Medicine. His research with colleagues has been published in the National Review of Clinical Oncology and Leukemia Research. Additionally, Dr. Tomifumi Onishi served on a committee with the Society of General Internal Medicine.
Dr. Onishi worked as an Internal Medicine/Hospitalist at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Texas from 2009 to 2010. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2009. Before that, he completed his internal medicine residency at Teine Keijinkai Hospital in Sapporo, Japan, in affiliation with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
His research in the field of internal medicine includes working with colleagues at the University of Texas A.D. Anderson Cancer Center and the University of Pittsburgh Hillman Cancer Center.
