As principal of Icon Realty Management, Terrence Lowenberg has been responsible for amassing a real estate portfolio containing properties in some of New York City's most desirable neighborhoods. In collaboration with his business partner, Todd Cohen, Terrence Lowenberg has facilitated more than $1.4 billion in transactions since they founded Icon in 2003. Their portfolio includes a healthy mix of different assets, including office, mixed-use, multifamily, and hospitality properties.
Mr. Lowenberg leads a team of 80 industry professionals who ensure that the firm’s properties offer value and a high-quality rental experience for tenants. A committed community participant, Terrence Lowenberg has also been a longtime supporter of community art through the facilitation of public murals on his buildings.
The mural project was undertaken through collaboration with several local art galleries, including
the Dorian Grey Gallery in the East Village. Icon Realty Management selected prominent artists including Lambros and Jeremy Penn to paint the murals. Culture magazine Melo recently interviewed Mr. Lowenberg about the mural project, and he expressed pride at being able to meaningfully contribute to the art culture, given its importance in New York City life.
