SoCal Nursing welcomes prospective students interested in pursuing a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Program or Home Health Aide (HHA) training. We are an accredited California Nurse Assistant Training Program (NATP) and Home Health Aide (HHA) training provider approved by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Aide and Technician Certification Section (ATCS), and Training Program Review Unit (TPRU). Our programs combine classroom instruction with supervised clinical experience to equip students with the knowledge, technical skills, and practical competencies required for entry-level employment as qualified Nurse Assistants and Home Health Aides. Our goal is to prepare graduates for careers in hospitals, outpatient facilities, home health agencies, hospice care, and other healthcare settings.
Course Description:
Southern California Nursing Academy, Inc.'s Home Health Aide (HHA) 40-Hour Program is a California Department of Public Health (CDPH) approved training program designed to prepare eligible Nurse Assistants to perform Home Health Aide responsibilities through the approved 40-Hour Model Curriculum. The program includes classroom instruction, supervised clinical training, assignments, and competency testing.
The program consists of a minimum of 40 total training hours:
20 Hours Classroom/Theory
20 Hours Supervised Clinical Practice
Home Health Aide Certificate
