How We Got Started
In 1999, Michael Sharp started Michael T Sharp Construction. It was a sole proprietorship, and he used the company to assist him with construction projects that he had within his rental network of homes. This continued for about 2 years and then in 2001, Chris Cirillo and Mike teamed up to build Spec Homes. We purchased property and began to build in 2002. We also bought and fixed up homes and sold them.
In 2006, Mike and Chris became Partners, and the Sharp Homes LLC was established. We continued to build spec homes, we also took on a couple of custom homes and very high end remodels. This Partnership continued until Mike had a stroke in 2009 and was forced to retire. Chris continued to grow the business, but it was tough during the recession.
In late 2010, we began to branch out into a specific trade, Roofing. Chris had done quite a few roofs from 2004-2010, so it was a logical extension to get into the re-roofing business. Chris hired Cliff Hurn as a Consultant and we began to focus on roofing. As we grew in size, it was became evident that the company structure was not going to fit our needs long term.
Therefore in 2014, Chris created the Sharp Homes II Corporation doing business as Sharp Roofing. This is the same company that has been doing business since 1999. We have the same values, the same goals, and the same drive to ensure ROOFING DONE RIGHT!™
