royal dance costumes
In Lahon Khhol, the royal dance costumes for the leading male dancers would have been embroidered with gold threads and studded with semi-precious stones. The costume would weigh about 1.5 kilos and was made up of three different garments. The main part would be a long tailored jacket with intricately woven designs. Over that a traditional cape called sbai or rabai kanorng was draped over the left shoulder leaving the right one bare.
