An educational professional, football coach, and researcher, Dr. Robert Ammon, Jr., has contributed to the advancement of knowledge in sport management by writing and publishing a number of articles in various peer-reviewed publications related to his field. His work has been featured in the International Journal of Sports Management, the Journal of Legal Aspects of Sport, and the Journal of Crowd Safety and Security Management. Currently, Dr. Robert Ammon, Jr., serves as an associate professor with the Department of Kinesiology and Sport Science at the University of South Dakota, where he created an undergraduate program focused on sport management.
In addition to fulfilling his professional responsibilities and research work, Dr. Robin Ammon devotes time and resources to a number of charitable and civic pursuits, including his church and the American Diabetes Association. In his spare time, Dr. Robin Ammon enjoys running and weightlifting as well as reading, listing to music, and traveling to international destinations including Australia, Europe and Costa Rica.
