Pradeep Ghia began his post-secondary education at Seth G. S. Medical College and K.E.M. Hospital in Mumbai, India, where he earned a medical degree and completed an internship with rotations in rural health care, minor surgeries, and anesthesia. Moving to the US in 1977, Dr. Pradeep Ghia pursued a residency in psychiatry at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia.
In 1979, Dr. Ghia switched focus and began a residency in internal medicine at Easton Hospital in Easton, Pennsylvania. Dr. Ghia went on to serve as a fellow of cardiology at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania.
After completing his cardiology fellowship, Dr. Ghia earned certification as an invasive cardiologist and became a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Ghia established his own practice in 1984 and has served as an invasive cardiologist and administrator for the past three decades. Over this time, Dr. Ghia has remained at the cutting edge of cardiac medicine and has become known for the management and treatment of congestive heart failure and heart attacks.
