How We Got Started
Pop n Dangle began from a place of creativity, healing, and a little bit of unexpected magic. I first started working with leather making tiny shoes for babies—carefully hand-stitching them with love and attention to detail. www.lilsoles.com.au .
As time went on I was left with beautiful offcuts of leather that were too special to throw away.
One day, I began playing with those scraps, turning them into lightweight earrings as gifts for friends.
They were bold, bright, and full of personality—just like the women I made them for.
To my surprise, people loved them. Word spread quickly, and what began as a side project bloomed into something much bigger.
Creating earrings helped me during a time when my health wasn’t at its best. It gave me focus, joy, and a renewed sense of purpose. Each pair of Pop n Dangle earrings is made with that same energy—carefully crafted from recycled leather, cork, and other unique materials, and finished with high-quality hooks for even the most sensitive ears.
Pop n Dangle is now a growing collection of statement pieces that are playful, lightweight, and full of heart. Every piece tells a story—mine, and hopefully a little piece of yours too.
Favorite Part of the Business
Without a doubt, my favorite part of Pop n Dangle is seeing the joy my earrings bring to others. Whether it’s a customer trying on a pair at the markets and instantly lighting up, or someone sending me a photo wearing their new dangles with a huge smile—it never gets old.
I also adore the creative process. Playing with colours, textures, and shapes, mixing recycled leathers and cork to make something completely unique… it feels like playtime for the soul. And knowing that I’m creating something beautiful out of materials that might have been tossed away? That’s the cherry on top.
But most of all, I love the connections. I’ve met so many amazing people through this journey—from fellow makers to customers who’ve become friends. Whether I’m running a workshop or chatting with someone at the markets, it's the human connection that fills my cup.
