Based in New York, New York, Norman Kinel is an experienced bankruptcy partner with Squire Patton Boggs (US) LLP. Over the course of his career, he has represented debtors, creditors, committees and other parties in many prominent bankruptcy cases involving organizations such as Adelphia Communications, 360networks, Public Service Company of New Hampshire, Coldwater Creek, Enron Corporation, Chrysler Corporation, and Tavern on the Green. Norman Kinel also represented the unsecured creditors’ committee in the reorganization of KidsPeace Corporation, earning the ACG New York Champion’s Award in connection with his work on the case.
Norman Kinel studied at American University’s Washington College of Law and has practiced at a number of major New York firms, including Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP and Lowenstein Sandler LLP. Additionally, he has been a partner at Sidley Austin LLP and Whitman Breed Abbott & Morgan LLC (now Winston & Strawn).
