Having owned and operated Horizon Psychological Services for 25 years, Dr. Norman Goldwasser draws on more than three decades of clinical experience. He offers a diverse suite of services that includes individual and group psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Norman Goldwasser also offers consultation services to organizations, schools, and business leaders.
Particularly focused on treating the lingering effects of trauma, Dr. Norman Goldwasser possesses more than 20 years of experience with eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). He has led a number of successful groups, including a men's group that continued for more than 20 years and addressed issues related to narcissistic personality disorder. An experienced educator as well, he has served as a scholar-in-residence, an adjunct faculty member, and an invited presenter at professional conferences and events worldwide.
Dr. Norman Goldwasser holds a doctorate in clinical psychology, magna cum laude, from the Medical College of Virginia. He received his master of science in the same field as well as an additional graduate degree in industrial and organizational psychology, both from the same institution, and both earned summa cum laude. Finally, he received his bachelor of science summa cum laude from Johns Hopkins University.
