Headquartered in Concord, California, since 1996, New Way Services, Inc., operates eight different facilities in the east San Francisco Bay Area of northern California. These include four locations in Oakley, three locations in Antioch, and one location in Pittsburg, California. The mission of New Way Services, Inc., is to provide the best possible care for individuals with developmental disabilities, placing a strong emphasis on what these individuals are able to accomplish rather than stressing their limitations. To further this mission, the organization ensures that its residents are treated with high levels of respect and supported in an exceptionally nurturing physical environment. To help reach each resident with the care that he or she needs and deserves, the organization performs comprehensive assessments annually and semi-annually by an ID team which consist of the family, client case manager, QIDP, day program case manager and any other members of the ID team as needed. All members have input as well as the client to ensure the client needs are being met.
