After graduating with high honors from the United States Naval Academy, where he completed a bachelor's degree in political science and international security affairs, Maxwell Mulholland was commissioned an officer in the United States Navy. During a decade of service in the Navy, he earned numerous distinctions and decorations, including the Navy Commendation Medal, the Armed Forces Service Medal, and the Federal German Military Cross of Honor. Maxwell Mulholland also was personally selected by Admiral Kinnaird McKee to study nuclear engineering at the Advanced Naval Nuclear Power School. He held multiple shipboard nuclear engineering positions, and qualified as Chief Engineer on a twin-reactor guided missile cruiser.
Mr. Mulholland received an honorable discharge in 1993 and subsequently earned a master's degree in business administration (MBA) at the Harvard Business School. Starting his business career as a management consultant, he eventually spearheaded numerous global strategic business initiatives as an executive across a range of industries, including computers and semiconductors, medical devices, factory automation systems, precision machinery, aerospace and defense, and electrical power products.
In 2014, Mr. Mulholland founded M+M Strategic Enterprises, LLC, a consulting firm dedicated to the creation and execution of innovative growth strategies for clients.
