Built from a custom Victorian design in 1990, this classic hotel sits half a mile from the A34/A40 junction in residential north Oxford. It's 1.9 miles north of the city centre, and a minute's walk from bus services.
Bright, traditional rooms are centrally heated and have en suite bathrooms (all but 1 with bathtubs), plus minifridges, microwaves, and tea and coffee making facilities. Most rooms have free Wi-Fi.
A complimentary cooked breakfast is served in-room. Additional amenities include laundry facilities, limited car parking, and a cozy guest coffee lounge with a piano.

How We Got Started
Malborough House Hotel opened its doors as a home-from-home accommodation in Oxford on November 30, 1990. It was constructed as a Bed and Breakfast by Builders Ede of Oxford who partnered with Mrs. Alison Percy to run and manage the business. Whilst traveling in Australia, Mrs. Alison Percy, the first landlady of Marlborough House Hotel dreamt of having a bed and breakfast with large bedrooms and kitchenettes. The idea originated from a simple concept for the benefit of mature students studying in Oxford, to include the provision of a base for discerning tourists who wish to be independent of mealtimes so that they can tour the Cotswolds or make trips around Oxford.
