Based in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Maarky Thermal Systems provides heat transfer equipment and services to power plants around the world. Operating under the leadership of president Ranga Nadig, the firm specializes in heat exchangers for solar power plants; these include superheaters, steam generators, and molten salt heat exchangers. Maarky Thermal Systems also offers steam surface condensers and feedwater heaters, for power plants ranging in size from 10 MW to 1,000 MW. Holding a PhD in mechanical engineering, Ranga Nadig oversees the operations of the engineering team that not only designs heat transfer equipment, but also fabricates and provides technical assistance during installation and commissioning.
Maarky Thermal Systems fulfills custom fabrication requests at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in North America and Asia, offering road, rail, and marine shipping. The north American fabrication facility, with ASME and ISO certifications, includes 100,000 square feet of manufacturing area supplemented by 500,000 square feet of additional laydown storage.
In addition to its design and fabrication services, Maarky also provides on-site technical and consulting services. Drawing on experience in all areas of heat transfer technology development, the firm’s engineers analyze non performing power plant components, determine the root cause for non-performance and implement appropriate and effective modifications to restore performance.
