Having lived across the U.S. and abroad, Karen Colburn settled in Northern Michigan permanently with her husband, George, a Michigan native, in 1997. In the previous 10 years, she and her husband were regular visitors to Charlevoix County while living in the Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. metropolitan areas. She also has the experience of being a landlord and actively conducting a vacation home rental service.
