A multifaceted financial executive with a rich background in commercial mortgage brokering, Jonathan Aghravi currently serves as a partner and Vice President at Hybrid Capital Markets in New York City. A native of the city, Jonathan Aghravi graduated from the Ethical Cultural Fieldston School in the Bronx before enrolling at Colgate University in upstate New York, where he pursued studies in International Relations. An outstanding student with a busy schedule of internships and part-time positions, Jonathan Aghravi earned such honors as the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence and enriched his studies as Commercial Marketing Coordinator for Hamilton Village Real Estate, Property Managing Agent with Buckingham Trading Partners, and Private Banking Intern at North Fork Bank (now part of Capital One Bank). Named to the Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honor Society, Aghravi graduated from Colgate in 2006 and subsequently launched a highly successful career in the mortgage industry. Beginning as an Investment Associate with Freddie Mac in New York, Jonathan Aghravi quickly demonstrated his aptitude as an underwriter for the major home mortgage lender. Two years later, he left to join Hybrid Capital, then a fledgling commercial mortgage brokerage with considerable potential in its market. Owing to the contributions of Aghravi and his colleagues, Hybrid Capital soon became one of the top commercial mortgage businesses nationwide.
