The founder of TriState Capital Bank in Pittsburgh, James F. Getz now serves as the chief executive officer and president of the institution. In these positions, James F. Getz oversees the operations at the bank and ensures its continued success by implementing new policies that benefit both the institution and its customers. He brings nearly four decades of professional experience to TriState Capital Bank. Before relocating to Pittsburgh, he lived in Philadelphia and was president and chief executive officer of Federated Bank and Trust.
A graduate of King’s College, James F. Getz continued his education at Villanova University, where he earned a master of arts in history. He pursued further graduate studies at Temple University before deciding to enter the banking industry. Outside of work, Getz is actively involved in the Pittsburgh and surrounding community through his support of several charitable organizations, including the Children’s Hospital Foundation, Little Sisters of the Poor, and St. Francis of Philadelphia.
