Employing his skills as a PT since the 1980s, Clarke graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science in chemistry from the University of Maryland, College Park, before earning his bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from Howard University in Washington, DC. Completing his clinical training at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Howard University Hospital, and Baltimore’s Curtis National Hand Center, James Clarke, PT, worked at regional and local clinics before founding his existing practice in 1987.
