In 1991, following the economic liberalization in India, the company diversified by establishing a trading division, focusing on its core competency of rubber compounding and processing. They imported and sold chemicals specifically for the rubber industry, sourcing from high-quality manufacturers. Today, I. R. Tubes Pvt. Ltd. sources its products from top manufacturers like D.O.G Deutsche Oelfabrik, Emerys Oleochemicals, Robinson Brothers, and Aquaspersions Ltd., with plants in Germany, Malaysia, and the UK. Initially supplying only the rubber industry, the company now serves the PVC, latex, adhesives, and sealants industries, and is expanding into inks, coatings, and other sectors where their products can be utilized.
