Recognized both nationally and internationally - Dr. Anthony Oliver completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training in the United States of America at the highly acclaimed University of Texas Health Science Centre in Houston – including a six (6) month rotation to the University of Aarhus, Denmark – where he was involved in the surgical correction of craniofacial deformities including cleft lip and palate surgery. Prior to this he obtained a Masters Degree, by both thesis and examination, in Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology – at the University of Melbourne. As such, he brings a vast reserve of experience to meet both the surgical and non-surgical needs of patients with problems of the oral and maxillofacial region. His particular interests include: dental implantology and bone grafting, post-traumatic facial reconstruction and orthognathic surgery to correct dentofacial deformities. He has over 20 years of clinical and research experience and has published widely in both national and international journals over a broad range of topics, including: oral cancer, facial trauma, dental implants, and bone grafting.
