Dedicated to serving the psychiatric needs of the Illinois community, Hartgrove Hospital offers inpatient services for children, adolescents and adults. The 150-bed behavioral health hospital is made up of eight separate units. Every patient on every unit benefits from high quality care and the expertise of a multidisciplinary team that is comprised of a psychiatrist, nurse, social worker, expressive therapist and other clinical experts. Hartgrove offers a wide range of specialized programs that address’ patient specific needs including depression; anxiety; behavioral disorders; substance abuse; traumatic brain injuries; trauma-induced distress; and a Young Adult Specialty Program specifically designed to meet the unique needs of patients from 18-30 years of age.
Hartgrove is committed to a holistic approach to treatment and healing. The hospital ensures ongoing academic involvement for school age patients through the Academy at Hartgrove Hospital. The Academy is staffed by full time educators overseeing all academic work. Hartgrove also offers a Latino Program which is staffed entirely by bicultural and bilingual professionals. The hospital offers a Partial Hospitalization Program for children and adolescents. Outpatient services for children, adolescents and adults are also offered at Hartgrove’s Austin Family Counseling Center.Hartgrove Hospital holds full accreditation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
