Dr. Gerard A. Begley earned his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and his D.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. Following an internship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, he completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Temple University Health Sciences Center in Philadelphia. As Chief Resident at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, he gained extensive experience in managing cleft lip/cleft palate patients. His clinical interests include alveolar cleft bone grafting, orthognathic surgery, and craniomaxillofacial trauma. Dr. Begley is an Assistant Professor at Temple University and a Board Certified member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He resides in Morristown with his spouse and three children.
