Gary Pagar began his investment banking career as an Associate at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. Next, Gary Pagar completed a three-year tenure with Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., where he was promoted to Vice President after starting out as an Associate. Later, Gary Pagar joined the Tribeca Group, Inc., where he served as a Managing Director and also served as Chairman for one of the firm’s portfolio companies, Plymouth Lamston Stores Corporation, a holding company for three retail chains with 256 stores around the U.S.
Mr. Pagar become Chairman of MedFirst Healthcare in 1992. MedFirst, a holding company that acquired and invested in physician support services networks was controlled by the principal investments arm of Goldman Sachs. Joining MedFirst as a start-up, Mr. Pagar oversaw MedFirst’s revenue growth to in excess of $100 million per annum.
