Edgerton Hospital and Health Services offers its Wisconsin community health care resources operated by efficient and compassionate leaders. The critical access hospital serves the communities of Edgerton, Milton, Janesville, and the surrounding area of Rock County. While Edgerton Hospital has been in operation since 1920, a new 18-bed facility affiliated with SSM Health Care of Wisconsin opened in 2010 to address the growing medical needs of the area. An emergency and urgent care center staffed by 13 hospitalists provides 24-hour, year-round access for those in need of emergency care. Additionally, Edgerton Hospital offers acute inpatient care and short-term rehab services for individuals recovering from surgery, illness, or injury. Outpatient resources include diagnostic services, day surgery, and rehabilitation services. Milton is also home to an outreach clinic operated by the hospital. A proud sponsor of numerous health initiatives, Edgerton Hospital and Health Services provides support for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, as well as HealthNet of Rock County, Inc. The hospital and its staff have worked with local middle schools in developing classroom wellness programs. Additionally, numerous community education classes are accessible to the public.
