Based in Jackson Heights, New York, lawyer E. Abel Arcia is passionate about representing immigrants who otherwise would not have a voice in the legal system. A partner as well as senior and managing attorney at the Law Office of Arcia & Associates, he consults with and retains clients, supervises a team of 15 attorneys and assistants, and litigates complex cases on state and federal levels. E. Abel Arcia founded the firm in 1995 and has since grown it into a large entity comprised of five practice areas, including immigration and personal injury. He has helped thousands of immigrants achieve legal status.
Prior to launching his own firm, E. Abel Arcia served as assistant district attorney with the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office for three years, the only Hispanic male assistant district attorney in the class of 1992. He attended Auburn University, where he graduated in the top 5 percent of his class with a degree in chemical engineering, before earning his JD from Loyola University at New Orleans School of Law.
