How I Got Started | Brad Tornberg is an entrepreneur who has successfully launched three businesses over the past 20 years in consulting & technology. He has built the sales force of two separate regional accounting firms into fruitful practices. He understands the owner’s side of a business as well as the side of the employees. This objectivity helps him to identify areas of improvement quickly and cost effectively and properly effect change within the organization.His background includes strong technical, financial and operational management and expertise in the
manufacturing and distribution sectors. As an entrepreneur, he formed E3 Consulting Solutions Inc to provide business and technology consulting solutions to over 150 clients.
As a consultant and coach Brad has noticed that many operational problems exist are there because of owners,families or senior managers. He is called in to improve technology but many times it’s not the technology that’s the issue; it’s the management along with the overall business process & structure. Getting everyone to buy in is
difficult at best when the organization is relatively flat with one or a few key people making the decisions. What is needed is tough love and the ability to look at oneself and make the necessary changes to bring harmony to the business as well as the individual. Many times these are one and the same issue His unique ability is being able to understand both business operations and transactions with technology. This approach is business first then technology and starts by listening to the client which is the most important thing in effective communication. Hearing what the problem is and why begins a journey of self improvement and business operational improvement.
By flushing out the problems of the organization he can then apply business and technology solutions that are customized to the client’s specific needs. By taking ownership of the process, cost savings can be made during the solution implementation by reducing the time to understand the core issues at hand.
Brad has an MBA in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University and over 25 years experience in Business & Information Technology for Manufacturing, Distribution, Service, Healthcare, Finance and Accounting businesses. He holds Microsoft Certifications for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) sales,implementation and training. He also has a series 6 and series 66 securities license and a New Jersey Life and Health License. He is well published having written many articles for The Practical Accountant and Distributors
Edge In his spare time, Brad devotes his life to his three children: Rachel, Erica and Haley. He loves to work out daily and prides himself on physical and mental fitness.
