As a physician with Heywood Hospital in Gardner, Massachusetts, Dr. Konstantino (Dan) Avradopoulos provides care within the Wound Care Center. Before taking this position in late 2015, he spent a year with MRDC International, a humanitarian group which opened a new clinic in Sub-Saharan Africa, as staff surgeon. Based in Juba, South Sudan, Dr. Dan Avradopoulos provided urgent care to humanitarian NGO members and foreign diplomats. Prior to this, as a member of Harrington Physician Services, Dr. Avradopoulos treated patients throughout central Massachusetts. Serving as director of surgical oncology at Harrington Memorial Hospital, he chaired the Operating Room Committee and was active with the Cancer Committee. In the latter capacity, he reviewed the full spectrum of breast cancer cases handled at the institution. Dr. Dan Avradopoulos also has 12 years of experience with the Fallon Clinic, now known as Reliant Medical Group, in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he held surgical oncology leadership responsibilities. Additionally, from 2003 to 2012, he served as director of the Breast Cancer Clinic at Saint Vincent Hospital.
