A member of the Michigan Association of Administrators for Special Education, Dr. Delia Lang served for more than 15 years as director for programs and services for special education at The Leona Group, based in Lansing, Michigan. She designed new curriculum and educational programs with the goal of benefiting both teachers and students. In this process, Dr. Delia Laing partnered with multiple schools in the area to evaluate learning quality and to identify specific areas for improvement.
Dr. Delia Laing also recently fulfilled a supervising role at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, where she oversaw the classroom performance of several practicum students. She observed the teaching skills of these individuals and determined whether or not to recommend them for state certification.
In addition to her professional experience, Dr. Delia Laing holds a BS in education from Ball State University and an MA in special education from the University of South Dakota. She completed a PhD in educational leadership at the University of Michigan.
