The recipient of a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of California at San Diego, David Daleo subsequently earned a master's degree and PhD in clinical psychology at Alliant University. After completing American Psychological Association-accredited internships with the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Harbor UCLA Medical Center, among others, David Daleo began his career as a supervising clinical and forensic psychologist with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. He was responsible for evaluating and assessing recently-arrested individuals for psychiatric disorders and substance intoxication.
Dr. David Daleo presently practices out of the Beverly Hills-based Daleoworks Psychological Services, which he founded in 2004. His clients include individuals and families seeking outpatient services in cognitive behavioral therapy as well as numerous entertainment studios and members of the Screen Actors Guild, Writers Guild of America, and Directors Guild of America. Supplementing his professional pursuits, Dr. Daleo holds membership with the elite council for the National Register of Health Service Psychologists.
