Dane D’Alessandro, an executive with more than two decades of management experience, is completing a PhD in organization development at Benedictine University's College of Business in Lisle, Illinois. He concurrently works as section chief in the consumer response division of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), a Washington, DC-based regulatory agency that enforces financial protection regulations and empowers consumers to take charge of their economic lives. In his leadership role at the CFPB, Dane D’Alessandro staffed, created, and now leads a team of more than 80 consumer complaint investigators who assess a variety of consumer protection complaints.
Prior to becoming section chief at the CFPB, Dane D’Alessandro served as senior director of strategy execution for the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, also known as Freddie Mac, in McLean, Virginia. In this role, he managed financial analysts and supervisors in the execution of large, complex strategic planning and business transformation initiatives.
A federal employee active in his broader community, Mr. D’Alessandro supports the Huntington ’s Disease Society of America.
