Community Education Partners (CEP) is an alternative education center that works in conjunction with local school districts to provide students in grades six through 12 with the opportunity to learn in a structured environment. Focusing on the education of young adults with learning difficulties and behavioral problems, Community Education Partners has facilities in the states of Texas, Tennessee, Florida, and Pennsylvania. Through the application of strict schedules, gender-separated classes, and individual attention from teachers, Community Education Partners aims to create a more productive learning environment. Prior to entry into a CEP school, students undergo tests so that professionals can determine their level of academic ability before designing an individual academic curriculum for them to follow. This approach allows children of all grade levels to pursue education at a pace that they are comfortable with. The aim of CEP is to equip its students with the necessary tools to return to and succeed in their home schools in the areas of attendance, test-taking, and behavior. Those who attend CEP schools are required to spend at least one full school year with CEP, but must return to their home schools by senior year in order to graduate.
