Senior director at EFG Capital Advisors’ Los Angeles office, Clinton Hodges founded the location in 2008 and has since created a highly profitable wealth management firm. Possessing 20 years of experience, he expertly leveraged his knowledge of planning and tax-advantaged strategies to establish a successful cross-border practice for ultra-high-net-worth clients. Throughout his career, Clinton Hodges has worked at such companies as UBS Wealth Management and Bank of New York Mellon Private Wealth Management; he also spent several years maintaining his own private estate planning and business law practice. He received his MBA from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees in France and his JD from a university in Los Angeles.
When he’s not working, Mr. Hodges enjoys practicing martial arts. He is an instructor in Commando Krav Maga, a variant of the self-defense and combat system, and holds a license from the Combat Survival Reality Based Institute. Additionally, he enjoys scuba diving. He holds certification from from Malibu Divers, as well as from PADI as an advanced open water diver. A dedicated member of his community, Mr. Hodges regularly supports the arts. He formerly served as a board member with the Santa Monica Museum of Art, and both he and EFG Capital Advisors have contributed to the founding of LAX-Art in Culver City and the sponsoring of various groups for Frieze, the Ojai Music Festival, and Art Basel.
