CleanLIFE wipes are made from 100% plant-based fibres that are biodegradable and compostable, providing an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic-based wipes. Once used, CleanLIFE wipes continue the sustainability cycle, by being placed directly into a compost bin, they help create healthy soils for continued plant growth.
We found a new path forward to overcome a problem that no-one thought could be fixed anytime soon, and in the process, we created an entirely new business venture to drive change and solve a huge environmental problem.
Wet wipes make life convenient - but until now they have not done much for the planet in the long term. Wipes are a huge environmental issue, contributing 25,000 tonnes of plastic to landfill each year in Australia.
Whilst we were not moving between cities and countries during the pandemic, plastic-based wet wipes were going to landfill at a phenomenal rate. They still are.
