CCTCM - Canadian College of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Traditional Chinese Medicine is a growing profession with an exciting future. In addition to the traditional area of employment (private and group practices, fitness and health clubs, chiropractic and naturopathic offices, athletic venues) we are seeing expansion of work opportunities into direct medical care environments such as hospitals, rehabilitation centres, chronic care facilities, and multidisciplinary practices.
Career Prospects
Complementary and alternative medicine has become more popular in recent years as people search out effective medical
treatments. Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture practice have been regulated in Ontario since April 2013. With the increased interests, Acupuncturists/R.TCM Practitioners can enjoy a well-paying career. Acupuncturists/TCM Practitioners earn a median annual salary of 73,000 to 80,000. Plus, as you gain more years of experience, you'll be able to demand a higher salary.
