Borrowed But Better Vintage Boutique was recently opened by husband and wife team James and Kim Chappelle. Who would expect a Retired Cleveland Police Detective and a Retired Cleveland School Principal to discover and uncover their hidden eclectic talents and open a vintage boutique? Borrowed But Better Vintage Boutique carries a variety of vintage, antique and one of a kind ''gently'' borrowed items. Our “analogy” reflects the old fashioned idea of “borrowing” a cup of sugar from your neighbor then returning that kindness to them in the form of a wonderful slice of cake! Thus our name, Borrowed But Better! We have vintage and antique crystal, china, glass art, pottery, shabby chic furniture, mid-century furniture, antique carnival glass, Fenton, Lenox, Italian, Mexican and Portuguese Pottery and a variety of other item. We hand paint, refinish and upcycle our furniture to give it a more contemporary and eclectic flair.
