Home Theater vs. Movie Theater |
Posted: January 25, 2015 |
Many grunt and avoid home movie nights claiming that it just is not the same and that you can only get the complete movie experience in the theater. You could claim that these people are just used to the theater experience and have only had movie nights with a small TV and a bad sound system. It is possible the experience the movie fully all you have to do is have a good screen and speakers. The Comfort Level Nowadays many theaters pay attention how comfortable the chairs are but nobody can sit in the same position for too long and the constant battle for the armrest is annoying. At home you can sit, put your feet up, lay down and if you don?t feel like wearing pants there are no rules to force you. Audiovisual Control There is nothing more disappointing then when a human giraffe sits in front of you just as you were happy you could see the screen well. In the comfort of your own home, not only do you have a big screen you can actually see but the surround sound can make the angels weep with joy. If you find a good home theatre systems installation crew you will most certainly notice the difference. Bathroom breaks are another problem that are easily solved all you have to do is pause. Bonus: No people The worst part of the theater experience are the people. Sure you might say that many passed the Movie Theater Behavior 101 class but it?s amazing how one person can ruin the movie you wanted to see. Talking, texting, being blinded by telephone screens, seat kicking and some people even bring their babies to the theater. The loud sounds and abrupt changes in the screen lighting bother the baby and they will surely cry in an act of rebellion. No Emotion control It happened too all of us at some point in the theater. We would hold back our tears, not blink and try to get a hold of our breathing, when what we really want to do is curl up in a ball, sob like a newborn saying: ?It?s not fair.? And sometimes a scene catches you by surprise and you start laughing very loud while the rest of the theater is nearly silent and giving you the disgruntled ?Calm down? look. At home you can cry and laugh to your hearts content and even pause to get your emotions in control so you can enjoy the movie. The Food and Drinks Anything beats the food you buy from the concession stand at the theater. It?s outrageously over priced, that butter they put on the popcorn isn?t butter and the clerks should give the food before they ring it up just to give you a chance to make a run for it. When you look at the markup of the food rarely will you find one that is not over a 100 percent. When at home not only will you save money but you can eat whatever you like and make all your favorite snacks.
