I Can't Do It |

I Can’t Do It! I can’t lose weight. I can’t quit smoking. I can’t make money. I can’t move to Alaska. I can’t get a job. I can’t find a girlfriend. Change. It’s not for sissies, is it? It’s also not about willpower or talent or hope. It’s about pain. Until the pain of being where you are is greater than the pain of changing, nothing’s gonna happen. Hard to believe, but we even get comfortable in our pain. We learn how to “manage” things. What used to be unbearable is now “not so bad”. We become skilled at making excuses, too. Here’s what I think is needed to make a change:
============================================ I am piloting a new Starting Now program, centering on a personalized process of change. I’m looking for a small group of people willing to dedicate time to work with me on the pilot. There’s no cost involved, but I need you to be 100% on board. If you are able and ready to participate [we’ll be starting mid-April], send me an email advising me of your interest at [email protected]. We can set up a time to talk and see if this is a good match for us both. Deadline to apply is April 1, 2013. Your partner in change, Annie~Pat
