What Star Wars Taught Me About Enlightenment |

What Star Wars Taught Me About Enlightenment When I first saw Star Wars, even though I was an adult, Darth Vader STILL scared the pants off me. What if there is no "dark side"? Wonder why we don't? Read this exerpt from a Guy Finley book: "Unlike our physical self the development of our spiritual self is not evolutionary. It is voluntary. Make no mistake. It requires a conscious choice and effort on our part. Genuine inner growth is the pearl of great price, the journey of a thousand steps, the quest of a lifetime. Every one of us is given the opportunity to embark on this great adventure within, but first we must recognize the necessity of it for a complete and fulfilling life. We must fervently desire it. Then we must be willing to go through the necessary self-shocks that this special kind of growth requires." The dark side is your interpretation-- your choosing to stay in the illusion, choosing to see things from your old beliefs, reacting from your false programs. It doesn't really exist. Two decisions needed: When old habits surface, decide to CHOOSE AGAIN and When you feel like things are hopeless, decide you are in it to GO THE DISTANCE. If everything is here FOR you, how can it be anything but the Light?
