These wrappers are usually yellow or light tan in color and are also known as Connecticut wrappers. These wrappers are grown, aged, and fermented under certain condition to offer a special kind of flavor. Camacho Cigars also use Claro wrappers.
They are also called double Claro having a sweet taste and are generally picked before its leaves are matured and are aged for shorter duration and therefore the wrappers are usually pale green in color.
The leaves of this variety of wrappers are aged and fermented for several years and it becomes brownish in color. The longer the leaves are aged its taste becomes more pronounced.
These are also known as double Maduro and its leaves are the darkest one and are aged even longer than Maduro leaves.

Besides wrapper the fillers also contribute to the flavor and strength. Long fillers are of better quality preferred by connoisseurs. Short fillers are made from long filler leaves cuttings and more affordable. Binder The role of binder is to give mechanical strength to cigar, so that it holds the filler together in a single piece. Usually it does not contribute much in the taste but the cost of the cigar varies on the basis of binder quality.
