Nokia equipped the Lumia 1520 with a powerful 2.2GHz quad core Krait 400 wholesale ZOPO ZP320 processor which is very responsive in combination with a Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 chipset and Adreno 330 graphics. The Note 4 has a quad core Krait 450 processor with a clock speed of 2.7GHz which outperforms Lumia 1520’s CPU. The Samsung phablet also uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset and improved Adreno 420 graphics. The Lumia 1520 has either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, expandable up to 64GB and runs on Microsoft Windows Phone 8 (upgradeable to v8.1) with 2GB of RAM. The Note 4 has 3GB of RAM, a built in memory of 32GB and the possibility to expand it up to 128GB. Ok, both phones have incredible cameras with lots of pixels, but the question is: which one impresses more? We have a 20MP PureView camera (Lumia 1520) with Carl Zeiss optics, optical image stabilization, f/2.4 aperture lens, a 1/2.5” sensor, dual_LED flash etc. and we have a 16MP camera (Note 4) with a 1/2.6” sensor and an f/2.0 aperture lens, LED flash, optical image stabilization and the same 4K video recording capability. The Nokia device offers lots of camera options such as shutter speed, focus, ISO, white balance, exposure etc. However, the pictures taken Note 4’s camera are sharper outdoors, with less noise and they’re brighter. Both phablets have gigantic batteries, but the Lumia 1520 hosts even a bigger battery of 3400mAh, which is non-removable and lasts 25 hours when talking on 3G. The Note 4 comes with a 3220 mAh battery with 4hours less lifespan. The Lumia 1520 was released a year ago and we’re impressed of its hardware specs and rear camera. Nokia invested passion and time in building this phablet, but there is a competitor that makes the Lumia 1520 look like a baby – Samsung’s Note 4. These devices are phablets, so expect to handle them with difficulty. The Lumia 1520 is even larger than the Samsung device, and it’s 33grams heavier, weighting 209grams. Plus, it has almost sharp corners, but you’ll prefer the stylish edge over the Samsung phablet, although there will be voices saying that faux leather back with the metal trim bezel look better. However, the Note 4 has more features to offer, such as a fingerprint sensor, the popular S Pen stylus, an IR blaster and a heart rate monitor. The Note 4 stands out with its 5.7inches Super AMOLED display that will offer a big amount of details and reproduces colors successfully thanks to the 1440x2560pixel resolution and 515ppi. The Lumia 1520 has a larger display of 6inches, which is an IPS LCD with 1080x1920pixels wholesale ZOPO zp520 and 368ppi. This display offers a better viewing experience outdoors, being capable of achieving a brightness output of 707 nits, compared to Note’s 468 nits.
