Biotricity is currently developing its Biolife product, which consists of a personal heart monitor for individuals with significant risk for cardiovascular disease. After collecting data and uploading it to the cloud in real time, Biolife will then create a holistic snapshot of the individual’s health. Userswill be able to visualize their overall health at any given time and manage their cardiovascular condition via actionable feedback. In this way, the Biotricity Biolife product acts as a self-management solution. Biotricity will soon launch Bioflux, a single-unit mobile cardiac telemetry (MCT) device for use by physicians in the clinic. Worn by patients outside the doctor’s office, the Bioflux unit transmits ECG information in real time to a cloud server accessible by the physician. Physicians then benefit from access to a comprehensive summary report of ECG data, improving their ability to make an accurate diagnosis and implement appropriate treatment.
