How We Got Started

I graduated as a city planner from the Faculty of Architecture in Middle East Technical University. I also got my master’s degree there. I worked as a research assistant and continued my PhD in the Urban Policy Planning program. After my contract with the university ended, I decided to move to Helsinki. I fell in love with Helsinki on the first day. I wanted to combine my love for Helsinki with my knowledge and research about the history, culture, planning and architecture of this beautiful city to share it with a wider audience, so I became a certified Helsinki city guide! I have been doing small group walking tours for over three years.
