About

We are an Ashtanga Yoga School dedicated to sharing yoga in the lineage of Sri K Pattabhi Jois and the teachings of our teacher, David Garrigues, who continually offers rich contributions towards the preservation of traditional Ashtanga Yoga. Our goal is to support people in developing a regular Ashtanga Mysore practice and to keep this form of yoga thriving. It is our belief that this regular practice unlocks new understandings that lead to a more balanced and fulfilling life. We believe that anyone can perform this type of yoga regardless of age, previous injuries, or other disabilities. We help people grow their practice by teaching traditional postural sequences yet being mindful that such sequences may need to be modified at times based on a practitioners individual set of circumstances. In the end, we hope to provide the space where people may deeply explore the intersection of mind, body, breath, and spirit.
