How We Got Started
Al Sada Travels began not with a business plan, but with a dua.
Like many in Kashmir, we grew up hearing stories of Hajj and Umrah from elders—those few who had the honor of standing before the Kaaba and praying in the Rawdah of the Prophet ?. For years, these journeys felt far, difficult, and often out of reach for the average family in Srinagar. That distance—spiritually and practically—left many hearts longing but unsure how to begin.
In 2012, one of our founders—who had spent years working as a software architect—felt a growing pull to create something more meaningful. After helping family members navigate the confusing process of visa applications, bookings, and ritual preparation, the idea slowly took form: Why not start a travel service that actually understands both the logistics and the spiritual needs of pilgrims?
With that thought—and the barakah of sincere intentions—Al Sada Travels was born.
From the very beginning, our mission was simple: to serve the guests of Allah with care, dignity, and honesty. We didn’t want to be just another ticketing agent. We wanted to walk alongside our pilgrims—from the moment they whispered their niyyah in Srinagar to the moment they stood in front of the Kaaba, hearts trembling with gratitude.
