Upon earning a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California in 2008, Xander Saide began working as a sales and special events manager with Los Angeles' Viceroy Hotel Group. Through four years with the company, Xander Saide conducted venue prospecting and financial tasks for large-scale events, including a fund-raiser for Sen. Elizabeth Warren, among others. From 2012 to 2015, he worked as an estate manager with Global Eagle Acquisitions.
Since August 2015, Xander Saide has been working toward a juris doctor at Cornell Law School. He earned entry into the school on a scholarship, previously served as vice president of the Latino American Law Students Association, and is on the dean's list. Now in his fifth semester, Xander Saide is studying international law abroad in Amsterdam and has completed a seminar on immigration. He is also an editor with the Cornell Law Review.
Mr. Saide has pursued multiple opportunities to gain relevant legal experience since enrolling at Cornell. He spent three months this past summer as a summer associate with Washington, DC's Goodwin Procter and was a summer associate with Los Angeles' Horvitz and Levy the previous summer. Additionally, Mr. Saide participated in a Cornell-affiliated legal clinic in which he worked with low-income clients from the LGBT community in upstate New York.
