| Mukesh Hills, often associated with the mysterious forests of Dow Hill in Kurseong, is known as one of the most haunted places in India. Surrounded by thick pine trees, silent roads, and old colonial buildings, this hill carries an atmosphere that feels both beautiful and terrifying at the same time.
The story begins in a quiet boarding school located near the forest area. Locals say that during winter vacations, when the school remains closed and the fog covers the roads, strange sounds can be heard echoing through the empty corridors. Footsteps, whispers, and the sound of chairs moving on their own have frightened many night guards who were once posted there.
