Currently a Senior Sales Consultant with the information technology firm Oracle Corporation in Redwood Shores, California, Ian Lasics has years of experience in system analysis, design, and implementation as well as project management. The majority of his experience relates to the insurance and higher education sectors. He possesses a thorough understanding of PeopleSoft as well as student finance, campus community, admissions, student records, and accounts receivable. Over the course of his career, Ian Lasics has completed a number of projects, including the creation of project charters, the execution of communication plans, and the coordination of testing.
Prior to taking on his present position, Ian Lasics served as a Project Coordinator for the University of Minnesota’s Office of Student Finance. His primary responsibility was to improve office efficiency through the design and implementation of new initiatives. He handled the scholarship entry automation program, a two-year program that required the collaboration of more than a dozen employees from nine university offices. Upon successful completion of the project, Ian Lasics saved the university $500,000 per year and cut the processing time of scholarships from 5 days to 15 minutes.
