Joshua's Top 7 Keys to Biblical Success
|
Any company you look at today has The Longevity Blueprint Review one proudly displayed in the Lounge area so that everyone who walks in can see what the Company or Organization would like to achieve. For example, the Google Company has a mission statement that says they want ''To organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful''. Then there are those motivational guru's like Robin Sharma who advise everyone to have their own personal mission statement written down so that they know exactly what path they want their lives to take.
And fair enough. After all, it is very easy to lose track of what you want to achieve, what with all the drama that happens in each of our lives, and then 15 or 20 years down the line we look back and think ''Uh, what is my company doing again??''. And success, they say, comes only to those who know what they want, and where they want to be in the near future. According to common belief, these mission statements have been said to work wonders for both organizations.
But do they?
No. Looking at it realistically, how many employees know what the mission statement for the company they work for is? And how many even care? After all, each employee is hired to do a certain job, and as far as the job gets done well, the company is going to succeed. Knowing the mission statement is not going to act as a motivator or a precursor for this success.
The most important thing is for the company to know exactly how to inspire its employees to work efficiently, and to the best of their abilities, and the company will automatically achieve success in whatever area it may be in. If the company limits its ideas or achievements to a mission statement, then the company will not be able to evolve and grow over time, and will lose any chance of being a versatile company. As popular American write and Humorist Dave Barry puts it, ''A Mission Statement is a dense slab of words that a large organization produces when it needs to establish that its workers are not just sitting around downloading Internet porn''. Having a mission statement has nothing to do with the success of your company.
