    Housemaid is a platform where employers can find a maid best suited to their requirements. Apart from providing the best experience of finding a suitable maid, housemaid also updates its viewers about the latest news on maids working in Singapore. As a part of a volunteer group called LIPS (Ladies in the Power of Service), domestic workers spend time visiting patients warded at Institute of Mental Health (IMH) for more than a year. They talk, play mahjong, sing and engage in fun activities bringing joy to the lives of the patients Of the 1000 long stay patients, only one third receive regular visitors. Mr. Chua, a 66-yr patient at IMH for 13yrs with schizophrenia feels a change in routine while talking and interacting with the volunteers.LIPS was started in November, 2012 by a group of 6 domestic workers as a meaningful way to spend their one day off at work each week..http://www.housemaid.com.sg/
